Nature holidays at the heart of our ecological commitment
Welcome to Camping de la Torche, your little corner of paradise just a stone's throw from Pointe de la Torche! Here, holidays mean surfing, nature, fun and respect for the environment. Just imagine: birdsong, the sound of the waves, and the feeling of being in harmony with nature... For us, it's not just a slogan, it's a way of life, a family heritage. Since 2012, we've been taking concrete action to combine comfort and the protection of our beautiful planet.
Our ecological commitments, for a sustainable campsite
For years, we've been doing everything we can to reduce our environmental impact and produce green energy. Here's what we're proud of:
- 98% of our lighting is low-energy consumption
- 105 photovoltaic panels to power our rental accommodation
- A wind turbine installed in 2019, producing the equivalent of 12 radiators
- Recovery of 900 litres of rainwater
- Partnership with the LPO since 2014 to protect our bird friends

A team that takes action
Our team shares our values and takes action on a daily basis to make the campsite an exemplary place.
- Eco-actions training : our seasonal staff learn about selective sorting, composting and good environmental practices.
- Responsible maintenance : refillable products, washable sponges and zero waste!
- Future projects : soon, our technician will be trained in the maintenance of solar panels.
Projects that inspire us
We don't intend to stop there! Our current projects combine ecology, soft mobility and a love of snow sports:
- Permaculture vegetable gardens: growing crops responsibly and raising our holidaymakers' awareness of biodiversity, in line with the objectives of the Bretagne Vivante association and in partnership with the Axis company. Come and discover our Smart Camping project
- Soft mobility: a new cycle path will soon be operational as far as Pointe de la Torche, ideal for cycle-hikers, families... and surfers who can reach the waves without polluting! What's more, new facilities are planned for the Pointe de la Torche: an area designed for surf, nature and thrill-seekers.
- Protecting local species: in partnership with the Ligue de Protection des Oiseaux (LPO), we look after the terns and gravelots, with whom we share this exceptional environment.
- Resource management: recovery of waste water and installation of sub-meters to encourage everyone to reduce their ecological footprint
- Recycling fun: ideas for ‘bin games’ to make sorting intuitive, fun and collective. We'd love to hear your ideas for challenges between surfers and holidaymakers!
