Ride to La Torche by bike
For cycling enthusiasts, both cyclotourists and vettetists, the location of our campsite in South Finistère makes it possible to reach Littorale 5 towards the south (Guilvinec, Bénodet, Concarneau...) or the north (Audierne, Pointe du Raz...). The signposting is well indicated, the terrain is relatively flat, the circuit can be done alone, in couple or with the family.
You can plan a longer walk in the Bay of Audierne, taking the solar wind road, marked out by a black sun, which will take you, for the more sporty, to the Pointe du Raz (64km), taking the time to stop at the Maison de la Baie d'Audierne and observe the birds, in a protected area or towards the south and discover the Rochers de Saint Guénolé via the prehistory museum and then on to Saint Pierre with its Eckmühl lighthouse, while taking regular breaks at the reading tables of the Route du Vent Solaire.
It is also possible to take your bicycle to cross by boat (small ferry) from Loctudy to Ile Tudy and from Sainte Marine to Bénodet, in 5 minutes.
From April to September, you can simply reach the surfing spot of La Torche either by road or by mountain bike via the riding centre or the path at the back of the campsite.
We encourage our holidaymakers to get to the spot on foot or by bike and also be an active player in sustainable development by limiting the carbon footprint during their stay.
It is also another eco-responsible way to discover the Bigouden country.
