At Camping de La Torche, our campsite in South Finistère, we offer a wide range of services to enhance your stay in Brittany.
At reception
- Participatory library: books in French, English and German are available at reception. For young and old, but above all for all tastes! Help yourself and leave books for future guests.
- Do you have letters to post? Let us take care of it for you.
- Donation hut: can't take everything home? Don't want to throw things away? Come and drop off your donations in the hut opposite reception!
- Laundry: Are you here for a long stay? Don't worry, you can wash your own clothes. Tokens are on sale at reception: €5 for washing and drying, €1 for laundry. Irons and ironing boards are available on request from reception. They are free to borrow, as are hairdryers.
- Linen rental is available (while stocks last): feel free to reserve your own cloth sheets (€13 for a single bed, €16 for a double) and towels (€6 for the kit).
- Baby kit rental (€5 per day): you can rent high chairs, umbrella beds and bathtubs if required. Please let us know when you book, as we have a limited number available.
- Fancy a bike ride? Bikes can be hired for your stay. Depending on availability, we can provide you with a baby seat, children's trailer or surf rack! Just let us know when you book.
- Need a fridge on your pitch? You can rent one at reception (minimum 7 days). Small fridge (5€ / day) or large fridge (7€ / day).
- Freez pack: would you like to put your freez pack in the freezer or have a bottle of iced water? It's possible at reception: €1 for a bottle of ice water, €1 to freeze one or two Freez packs, €2 to freeze three or more Freez packs.
- Have you chosen a comfort pitch but forgotten your European plug adapter? No problem! We have some available for hire: €5 for a European plug for the duration of your stay. A €20 deposit is also required.
In the campsite
- We practice selective sorting: different bins for your waste! Don't throw away your food scraps - we recover them for our chickens and compost!
We've opted for limited WIFI: for the moment, we're at the end of the world, and at the end of the airwaves (at present, we have very little bandwidth):
* from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at reception (in low season)
* and in July and August from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the bar.
- Electric vehicle charging station available. Need to charge your electric car? Thanks to our wind turbine, you can recharge your car on site. A charging station is also available in the campsite parking lot.
- Our sanitary facilities are specially adapted: one allows you to change and bathe your baby in a private cubicle. The other is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
- A host of services have been set up to welcome and entertain your dogs! A canidouche, a doggy bar and an agility park. What's more, for your dog's comfort, some terraces can be equipped with barriers to close them off completely.
- Travelling by caravan or motorhome? You'll have a disposal area for chemical toilets. We don't have drainage for grey water, as we're not connected to the public network!
- In high season (July-August), a night watchman watches over your sleep and is on hand in case of emergency.
For fun
- Indoor heated swimming pool (from 01/05/2024 to 15/09/2024). Open from 10am to 7pm.
- Want to play with your family? We've got lots of board games available at the bar! You can take them away for an evening and bring them back the next day.
- Kids Club: from 08/07/20274 to 30/08/2024, our activity leader will look after your children (aged 5 to 12) from Monday to Friday, 10am to 12pm!
- At the entrance to the campsite, there's a play area for your children! Let their creativity run wild!
- Numerous sports fields: pétanque, volleyball, basketball, soccer, table tennis...
Food and drink
- Convenience store: forgot something? We may have just what you need. Basic products are on sale at reception.
- In July and August, you can order bread and pastries the day before for the next day at reception! Pick up your order in the morning at the bar. Breakfast formulas are also available!
- In July and August, foodtrucks come directly to the campsite to serve up tasty treats! Foodtruck Le Kolibri (vegan), foodtruck crêpes... At the bar, we offer French fries and pizzas!
- There are also a number of restaurants within easy reach of the campsite (less than 2 kilometers)!
